“We shed our armours and tears in order to see the world afresh, in joy and celebration."
This weekend long yoga retreat is an opportunity to step away from our day to day habits and patterns, give yourself some space to rest into the flow of nature and to celebrate the arrival of the spring equinox, in a meaningful mindful way. Spring brings us this aliveness, awakeness, and vibrancy emerging out of the silence and darkness of Winter. As we witness Mother Earth is showing us the way of creation, with her way of creating beauty and growth in constant subtle change, how can we tune ourselves into this lively energy of Spring? Let this weekend be a powerful time to make a renewed commitment to your intention - I am excited to offer this special opportunity for us to reconnect within ourselves, and to each other.
Location
The Brunnenhaus is a beautiful retreat center in the heart of the Bergisches Land. The house is named after the many wells that have supplied the entire valley with fresh water for decades. Today, the Brunnenhaus is a meeting place for people from various walks of life who want to escape the hectic pace of everyday life and serves as a source of creativity, exchange and community.
The Brunnenhaus not only has a beautiful garden, it is also located in a nature reserve with numerous hiking trails, far from major roads. The Dhünn flows right outside the front door and except for hares and foxes there are no direct neighbors. Here you hear nothing but the rushing brook to fall asleep and the chirping of the birds when you wake up. A place that invites you to unwind, slow down and rediscover your connection to nature and yourself.

As a nutritionist Helena is passionate about food and likes to show people, that a healthy diet can also be varied and delicious. Cooking in retreats is the best opportunity for her, to nurture people and teach them the benefit of a sustainable diet.
